Class 1 dangerous goods driver training
In order to obtain the right to carry Class 1 dangerous goods and to obtain the relevant certificate, a person shall undergo a basic training course and an additional training course on the carriage of Class 1 dangerous goods in accordance with Annex 2 to the Republic of Latvia Cabinet Regulation No. 514 and pass the relevant examinations.
The duration of the additional training course is 16 hours.
The duration of the course is 7 working days (1 week and 2 days) 9:00 – 17:00
The additional training course on Class 1 dangerous goods carriage covers the following topics:
- Classification of Class 1 substances and articles, danger signs
- Hazards of explosive substances and articles
- Mixed loading of Class 1 substances and articles
- Construction requirements for vehicles intended for the transport of Class 1 substances and articles
