ADR tank driver training
In order to obtain the right to transport dangerous goods in fixed tanks (tank-vehicles), demountable tanks, battery-vehicles with a total capacity exceeding 1000 litres, tank-containers, portable tanks and MEGCs with an individual capacity exceeding 3000 litres, and to obtain the relevant certificate, a person shall complete a basic training course and an additional training course on tank transport in accordance with Annex 2 to the Republic of Latvia Cabinet Regulation No. 514 and pass the appropriate examinations.
The duration of the additional training course is 16 hours. The duration of the course is 7 working days (1 week of basic training and 2 days of additional training) 9:00 – 17:00
The tank training course covers:
- Driving characteristics of tank-vehicles
- Construction requirements for tank-vehicles
- Different tank filling and emptying systems
- Operational requirements for tank-vehicles (e.g. tank certification, tank marking)
